A Warm Welcome: CSE Freshers' Orientation Spring 2026

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Green University of Bangladesh is pleased to share the successful culmination of the Freshers' Orientation for the Spring 2026 semester. This significant event, held on the 2nd of February 2026 at the GUB Multipurpose Hall, was gracefully organized by the Green University Computer Club (GUCC) to formally welcome our newly admitted students into the CSE academic community. The program featured a thoughtfully curated agenda designed to introduce the freshers to the department’s culture, academic expectations, and the vast opportunities that await them.

We were profoundly honored by the presence and enlightened contributions of our distinguished guests. We extend our deepest gratitude to our Honourable Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, Dean of the Faculty of Science & Engineering, who graced the occasion and imparted invaluable counsel on cultivating academic discipline, fostering personal development, and optimizing the holistic university experience. Our sincere appreciation also goes to our Special Guest, Md. Solaiman Mia, Assistant Professor in the Department of CSE and Deputy Director of Student Affairs, for delivering an encouraging speech that inspired students to pursue excellence in both their scholarly and extracurricular endeavors. Furthermore, we are thankful to our Session Chair, Syed Ahsanul Kabir, Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of CSE, who eloquently presented the department's vision and provided essential guidance on aligning academic goals with the dynamic demands of the future technology landscape.

The orientation session was marked by an atmosphere of enthusiasm, clarity, and a genuine sense of belonging, effectively bridging the gap between our new students and the departmental faculty and leadership. From the welcoming remarks and insightful faculty presentations to the motivational discourses, the event successfully established a constructive and inspiring preamble to the academic journey that lies ahead for our freshers. We sincerely acknowledge the dedicated efforts of all faculty members, the enthusiastic participation of the students, and the meticulous coordination by the GUCC organizing team, whose collective commitment was instrumental in orchestrating this commendable event.
