CSE Department Successfully Organizes Industry Visit 2026 to TechnoNext Software Limited

The Internship Coordination Committee of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) successfully organized Industry Visit 2026 at TechnoNext Software Limited, Dhaka, on Wednesday, 19 August 2026. The visit was organized to provide undergraduate CSE students with practical exposure to the professional software industry and to connect their academic learning with real-world industry practices. A total of 65 students and 3 faculty members participated in the industry visit. The program was held at TechnoNext Software Limited, Talukdar Tower, Saied Nagar, Dhaka–1212.

The visit was organized by the Internship Coordination Board, Department of CSE, in collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society GUB Student Branch Chapter and IEEE GUB Student Branch. The program was hosted by TechnoNext Software Limited and supported by the Department of CSE.

Objective of the Visit

The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to Software Development, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Software Quality Assurance (SQA), and Project Management. The visit also aimed to familiarize students with contemporary industry practices, professional working environments, and career opportunities in the technology sector.

Industry-Oriented Learning Sessions

The program commenced with an arrival and welcome session, followed by an introduction to TechnoNext Software Limited and TechnoNext Academy. Students then participated in a series of technical and professional sessions conducted by different teams of the organization.

The Software Development and Project Management session provided students with insights into professional software development practices and project management processes. This was followed by an AI and Machine Learning session conducted by the AI/ML team, allowing students to gain a better understanding of the practical applications of these technologies in the industry. A dedicated session on Software Quality Assurance (SQA) introduced students to professional quality assurance practices and highlighted the importance of software testing and quality management in real-world software development. The program also included a group photo session, closing remarks, and lunch hosted by the management of TechnoNext Software Limited.

Strengthening Industry–Academia Collaboration

The industry visit provided students with an opportunity to observe and understand the professional environment beyond the classroom. Through direct interaction with industry professionals and exposure to different technical teams, students gained valuable insights into the skills, technologies, workflows, and professional competencies required in the software industry.

The participation of the IEEE GUB Student Branch and the IEEE Computer Society GUB Student Branch Chapter further contributed to strengthening students' professional and technical engagement through industry-oriented activities.
