Green University CSE Department Celebrates the Successful Conclusion of IGPC 2026

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Green University of Bangladesh is proud to announce the successful completion of the Intra Green Programming Contest 2026 (IGPC 2026) . Organized by the Green University Competitive Programming Community (GUBCPC), the event was a resounding success, fostering a culture of problem-solving and technical excellence within the university.

IGPC 2026 brought together a record number of participants, demonstrating the growing enthusiasm for competitive programming among our students. The contest provided a platform for students to test their algorithmic skills, coding proficiency, and teamwork under pressure.

A Showcase of Technical Prowess on GreenOJ

A highlight of the event was its hosting on GreenOJ, the university's own competitive programming platform. Developed by senior students from the CSE department, GreenOJ served as the perfect battleground for the competition, showcasing the university's technical capabilities and providing a dedicated environment for the contest.

Participation and Schedule

The contest saw active participation from 150 students, forming 75 teams of two members each. The event proceeded as follows:

• Reporting: 11:30 AM

• Contest Start: 1:00 PM

• Contest End: 4:00 PM

Participants from the Departments of CSE, Software Engineering (SWE), and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (ADS) competed in a challenging three-hour contest designed to evaluate their logical reasoning, algorithmic knowledge, and ability to perform under time constraints.

Events like IGPC 2026 are crucial for developing a robust competitive programming ecosystem at Green University. Such contests are vital for preparing students for inter-university and international programming competitions and help in identifying talented programmers for the university's future competitive teams.
