Successful Completion of seminar on "Towards Data-Efficient and Interpretable Computer Vision: Advances in Few-Shot Learning and Explainable AI"

We are pleased to notify you that the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter, GUB, together with the IEEE Student Branch, GUB, successfully organized an insightful seminar titled "Towards Data-Efficient and Interpretable Computer Vision: Advances in Few-Shot Learning and Explainable AI" at Green University of Bangladesh.

The Department of CSE and the AI & ML Research Cell hosted the event, with support from the IEEE Bangladesh Section. The event welcomed approximately 300 participants, including faculty members, researchers, IEEE members, and students passionate about AI.

Prof. Dr. Md. Ahsan Habib Tareq, SMIEEE, Professor, Department of CSE, Green University of Bangladesh, inaugurated the seminar by highlighting IEEE's role in connecting academia and industry. The keynote address by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shorif Uddin, SMIEEE, Vice-Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh, covered impactful topics such as Few-Shot Learning, Federated Learning, and Explainable AI, inspiring participants to explore emerging research opportunities. Moving beyond surface-level overviews, he unpacked their theoretical underpinnings, real-world implementations, and transformative potential across industries. His address didn’t just inform; it challenged participants to rethink conventional research pathways and inspired them to position themselves at the forefront of these rapidly evolving fields.

The program concluded with the recognition of student achievements, encouraging continued innovation and learning. We sincerely appreciate the support and participation of our faculty members and look forward to organizing morehands-on experiencesto help students learn, create, and grow.
