Hackathon on Leveraging Course Files for Continuous Quality Improvement

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Green University of Bangladesh, successfully organized a Hackathon on Leveraging Course Files for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) on 14 September 2025.

The event brought together faculty members to collaborate on innovative approaches for ensuring effective course file management, continuous improvement practices, and preparation for accreditation.

Event Highlights

• Opening Session: Led by Ms. Umme Ruman, Assistant Professor, CSE.

• Keynote Speech: Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, Dean of FSE & Director of IQAC, delivered an insightful talk on “Ins and Outs of Achieving BAC/BAETE Accreditation.”

• Focused Discussions:

  • Importance of academic and administrative harmony in achieving POE attainment (Prof. Dr. Md. Ahsan Habib).

  • Overview of CO-PO attainment documents (Md. Sabbir Hosen Mamun).

• Hands-on Sessions: Faculty members actively worked on CO-PO preparation and course file checking with the support of course coordinators and CQI members.

• Technical Training: Dr. Md. Faiz Al Faisal, Associate Professor & Director of IT, conducted a training on MS Teams and its applications.

• Closing Remarks: The session concluded with reflections from Dr. Muhammad Abul Hasan, Associate Professor & Chairperson, ADS.

This hackathon not only strengthened faculty collaboration but also reinforced the department’s commitment to academic excellence and accreditation readiness.
