Green University Students Awarded Best Paper at STI 2024 Conference

Dhaka, Bangladesh – Three students from Green University of Bangladesh, Md Abdullah Al Sami, Ibrahim Tanvir, and Md. Abu Taief Siddique, have been honored with the Best Paper Award at the 6th International Conference on Sustainable Technologies for Industry 5.0 (STI 2024). Their groundbreaking paper, titled "Energy and Latency-Aware Optimal Task Allocation in Edge Computing Assisted Multi-UAV System," received widespread recognition for its innovative approach to edge computing and UAV systems.

The research was supervised by Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzque, Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Dhaka, with co-supervision from Palash Roy, Lecturer in the CSE Department at Green University of Bangladesh. The paper also features contributions from Dr. Muhammad Aminur Rahman, Chairperson of the CSE Department at Green University of Bangladesh.
