CSE Department Crowned Champions of Clemon Uni Campus Cricket Tournament 2025

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Green University of Bangladesh is immensely proud to announce its victory in the Clemon Uni Campus Cricket Tournament 2025. In a display of remarkable athletic skill and teamwork, the CSE team secured the Championship Title following two days of spirited competition held on November 24–25, 2025, at the Green University Playground. The tournament, jointly organized by Clemon Sports and the Green University Sports Club, saw participation from ten departments, with the CSE team demonstrating outstanding coordination to rise above the field and claim the trophy.

The tournament was a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and unity, culminating in a competitive final where the Department of CSE outperformed their peers. We also acknowledge the impressive gameplay of the Department of English, who earned the position of Runners-up. This achievement highlights the versatility of our engineering students, proving that their dedication extends beyond the classroom and into the arena of competitive sports. The event provided a significant platform for students to showcase their extracurricular talents while fostering a sense of camaraderie across the university.

The prestige of the occasion was further enhanced by the presence of distinguished leadership at both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. We were honored to host Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shorif Uddin, Vice Chancellor; Prof. Dr. Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, Pro Vice Chancellor; and Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Treasurer. They were joined by Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering; Prof. Dr. Mohammed Tareque Aziz, Dean of the Green Business School; Captain (Navy) Shaikh Mohammad Salahuddin (Retd.), Registrar; Dr. Md. Mehedi Hasan, Proctor; and Mr. Gazi Alamgir, Representative of Clemon Sports. Their inspiring remarks underscored the importance of such events in shaping confident, disciplined, and socially responsible graduates.
