Thesis/Project and Internship Coordination Board
Goal: Produce high-quality project/thesis and ensure the publishing of at least 30 student papers in each year and monitor the internship program. Contribute to developing curriculum, create scopes for the students to gain industrial experience and Involve industry personnel and international academics in various courses and take initiatives to sign MoUs with industries and International Universities. Involve Alumni in branding of the department and reaching at least 5,000 university admission aspiring students
Tentative Activities:
- Ensure high-quality project/thesis
- Ensure publishing at least 30 student papers
- If necessary, bring new policies to ensure high-quality Project/Thesis
- Other regular activities
- Make it compulsory for all the students who are doing Projects to work with industries or consult with industries
- Final year design project/thesis should have inputs and co-supervision of industry experts
- Promote the publication of the results obtained from conducting a project/thesis
- Redesign the internship program (if necessary).
- Any other activities necessary for achieving the goal.
- Inclusion of new members in the panel
- Arrange relevant meetings
- Receive feedback from the industrial panel before developing new curriculum and discussing it with the curriculum committee
- Incorporate industrial visits in various courses
- Involve 3 industry personnel in 3 courses in every semester
- Involve 3 international academics in 3 courses in every semester
- Sign at least 2 MoUs with international Universities
- Sign MoUs with the industries that are selected for Industrial Training/Internship
- Take the necessary initiatives to form a vibrant alumni association
- Collect alumni data
- Involve alumni members to arrange various technical events and facilitate their interaction with the existing students
- Involve alumni to give feedback in the curriculum revision process
- Any other activities necessary for achieving the goal
