Overview:
The Green University Computer Club (GUCC) is a highly accomplished student organization at Green University of Bangladesh. With a strong focus on leadership, teamwork, and innovation, GUCC plays a pivotal role in organizing a wide range of activities, from seminars on emerging technologies to cultural events. These initiatives provide students with opportunities to develop essential life skills, collaborate with faculty, and engage in meaningful outreach to the broader community. Mission Statement

We, the members of Green University Computer Club (GUCC), are dedicated to creating a dynamic and interactive environment that enhances students' knowledge, skills, and personal growth. GUCC is a non-political, nonprofit organization affiliated with the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. Our mission is to encourage co-curricular activities that promote leadership, technical expertise, and social awareness. Through training programs, seminars, workshops, and community outreach, we strive to cultivate competent, socially responsible individuals ready to make a positive impact in the world.

Goals

  • To enhance leadership and professional skills among the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) students of Green University.

  • To foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and lifelong learning.

Objectives

Key Activities

  • Academic Seminars & International Conferences
    GUCC plays a key role in organizing academic seminars, international conferences, and workshops that explore current trends in technology.

  • Cultural Celebrations
    The club is responsible for holding cultural activities on national significant days such as International Mother Language Day, Independence Day, and Victory Day. These include singing, dancing, drama, recitation, and more.

  • Community Outreach
    Through various online activities, national contests, and public discussions, GUCC actively promotes the university’s achievements and creates a wider impact.

  • Humanitarian & Relief Activities
    GUCC is actively involved in humanitarian efforts and relief activities, especially during crises, as part of its mission to nurture socially responsible behavior in students.
