The Green University Computer Club (GUCC) Virtual Gaming Society (VGS) is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of its flagship tournament, Virtual WarZone Season 01. Following a series of high-intensity competitive rounds held on February 5 and 6, 2026, the event culminated in a prestigious Prize Giving Ceremony on February 25, 2026. This tournament marked a significant milestone for the university's gaming community, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and digital sportsmanship.

Spanning from January 29 to February 07, the tournament featured four major competitive titles: Valorant, PUBG, Free Fire, and eFootball. The event saw an impressive turnout of 177 registered players, reflecting the growing interest in esports within the campus. The competition was diverse in format, including 44 individual participants for eFootball and 26 organized teams competing in the various squad-based categories. This high level of engagement underscores the Department of CSE’s commitment to supporting diverse student interests and modern extracurricular activities.

The Prize Giving Ceremony served as the grand finale of the event, where champions were officially recognized for their strategic excellence and skill. Prizes were distributed among the winners in the presence of faculty members and the student body, celebrating the remarkable talent within the Green University gaming community. The success of the ceremony further solidifies the presence of the Virtual Gaming Society (VGS) as a vital platform for student interaction and technical coordination on campus.

The Department of CSE and the GUCC extend their sincere gratitude to the faculty members, the dedicated VGS organizing team, and all participants whose collective efforts ensured the smooth execution of the tournament.
